Sir Lancelot is introduced as an anthropomorphic hedgehog and the alternate reality doppelgänger of Shadow the Hedgehog from the world of Camelot. He is a member of the Knights of the Round Table, a group of knights in the service of King Arthur. Being as quick as Sonic, Lancelot is the mightiest of the Knights of the Round Table, and is the one closest to King Arthur. He has the legendary sacred sword Arondight.
