VOCALOID started from the concept of synthesizing human vocals for singing. Developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki, it was backed by the Yamaha Corporation. From the beginning, it wasn't an easy task to accomplish, but as you can see, VOCALOID has grown into a worldwide sensation, spawning new musicians, albums, figurines, and even concerts. It has grown so much that we have decided to make a fanart cursor collection with VOCALOID singers.
Various voicebanks were released for use with the Vocaloid synthesizer technology. Each is sold as a singer in a box designed to act as a replacement for an actual singer. As such, they are released as more human-like. These avatars are also referred to as Vocaloids and are often marketed as virtual idols - replacements for real pop stars. Some Vocaloids, which you can meet in our fanart VOCALOID cursor collection, go on to perform at live concerts as on-stage projections.
Here you can already find the Gackpoid cursor, the anime pointer with Kagamine Rin and Len, the fanart Vocaloid Akikoloid-chan cursor pack, the Vocaloid Mayu anime cursor, the anime cursor SeeU and Guitar, the anime pointer with Meiko and Microphone Vocaloid V flower cursor, cursor pack with MEIKA Hime and Mikoto, Megurine Luka pointer and much more are waiting for in our fanart VOCALOID cursor collection.
