Zuzu is Sarah Hatoff's pet poodle, one of the many enchanting characters in the Dog Man series of comic books. She made her first appearance in Chapter 4 of the first book when she ran away from Penelope's Pets shop. This escape was triggered by Petey, who blew a dog whistle at all the dogs in the city and after locked them in a cage. Fortunately, Dog Man came at the right time and was able to save the lives of all those dogs. In the Superhero version, Zuzu looks a little aggressive with her black mask and sharp teeth but still remains a good and loyal pet to her owner.
