A voodoo doll or Vodou is a doll made to resemble a person in order to do spells on them or to harm them with a needle. This is a real religion practiced in Haiti and other places in the Caribbean. Vodou people do make such dolls, but for completely different purposes and reasons, and not for revenge. They are used to help with healing or as a way to communicate with gone loved people.
