Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress and a multi-platinum recording singer pop artist who became immensely popular with her Academy Award-nominated performance in 2010 True Grit. Born in Hollywood and grew up in LA, California she begun her acting career with a breakout role as Mattie Ross in 2010's True Grit when she was just 14. Steinfeld, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Nadine Byrd in 2016’s The Edge of Seventeen, went on to star in the 2018 Transformers movie Bumblebee.
