Dandelions are a common wildflower with a natural cycle connected to the changing seasons. As the weather warms up, the dandelion plants will start to produce long stems with a bright yellow flower head consisting of hundreds of tiny individual flowers. These flowers are pollinated by bees and other insects, eventually producing seeds. When formed, the dandelion flower head looks like a fluffy white seed head, like in our White Dandelions on the Yellow Background cursor. Each seed has a fluffy pappus, a white structure that helps to be carried by the wind.
