This addictive water sport is born from surfing with roots in Hawaii, and it's called Standup Paddleboarding or simply SUP. In this sport, boarders stand on boards that are floating on water and use a paddle to move on the water surface or in light waves. Usually, SUP boards are much longer than surfboards, about 14 feet long, and a lot heavier and thicker. For this reason, they are more stable and present a good sport for beginners and families.
