In the years that followed, Metarex left Cosmo as the sole survivor of her kind. Cosmo joined Sonic the Hedgehog and his team to fight the Metarex and thwart his ambitions for universal domination. He eventually became a love interest for Miles Prower, but she sacrificed her life to defeat the Metarex for good.
