Nedward Flanders, Jr., also known as Ned Flanders, is an extremely religious character from The Simpsons animated sitcom. He is a very kind, honest, and affable person, who sincerely believes in God and follows the Bible. Ned also works in the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department. Homer, one of the main characters, secretly hates Ned, because his family, job, and particularly life are not as good and stable as Ned's.
