Seong Gi-hun aka Player 456, is a long-standing resident of Ssangmun-dong, Seoul. He is shown to be a friendly and talkative person, often engaging to converse with people around him. He is portrayed by actor Lee Jung-jae and was voiced in the English dub by Greg Chun. A former gambling addict, a player 456 faced crippling debt from loan sharks for many years before participating in and ultimately winning the 33rd Squid Game in 2020.
