The Knight is the only playable character of the Hollow Knight game, born in the Abyss with Void inside their shell. Despite being imprisoned in that place specially sealed by their father, the Knight and some of their siblings managed to escape the Abyss. At the beginning of the game, a player sees the character equipped with only their Old Nail and the power to heal themselves, but with time, they gain more and more skills, items, and special Charms to continue their journey and overcome any obstacles.
