Maomao is the main character in The Apothecary Diaries series, known as a maidservant in the Imperial Palace of Li. Having been raised by the apothecary Luomen, Maomao loves to experiment with potions and herbs, and to observe their effects, using them on her body. In the Palace, she studied how to use her extensive knowledge of herbs and illnesses to help people within the Inner Court get rid of their health issues. She is a very intelligent and confident girl, who prefers to do more good deeds for others and cares about them.
